We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and payment information when you subscribe to a paid plan. We also collect your Amazon settlement report data when you upload CSV files to the platform.

We automatically collect usage data including pages visited, features used, and technical information like browser type and IP address through our analytics provider (PostHog).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain the ProfitPilot service
  • Process your Amazon settlement data and generate profit reports
  • Process payments through Stripe
  • Send you service-related communications
  • Improve and optimize our platform
  • Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

3. Data Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security (RLS) enabled on all tables. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, and we never store your full credit card information. All data is transmitted over HTTPS.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase - Database and authentication
  • Stripe - Payment processing
  • Vercel - Hosting and deployment
  • PostHog - Product analytics
  • Sentry - Error monitoring
  • Anthropic (Claude API) - AI-powered insights generation

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and uploaded settlement data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at hello@tryprofitpilot.com. We will delete your data within 30 days of a valid request.

6. Your Rights

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Our analytics provider (PostHog) may use cookies to track usage patterns. You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by email or through the platform. Your continued use of ProfitPilot after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
